The club is located on Glasscock Island, Mississippi and Esperance Point, Louisiana. These areas form one contiguous piece of property, surrounded almost completely by the Mississippi River. All together, they form one of the largest hunting clubs in the south.
The island is located just 30 minutes south of Natchez, Mississippi and Vidalia, Louisiana. It is approximately 11.5 miles south of Vidalia on LA Highway 131. You can access the property from the highway off the levee to the main road, which runs throughout the property.
The road system is well established and can be traveled until the river reaches about 40 feet on the Natchez gauge. At higher water levels, access is by boat. You can view the current river levels published by the Army Core of Engineers. (In the linked river level table, view the "Stage Today" column for "Natchez" line. Please contact Mr. Greg Ketchings for interpretation of these data.)
By air: Both Vidalia and Natchez have airports and there is a small air strip on the island. The air strip is clear until 45-46 feet on the Natchez gauge.
Off-road travel is limited to ATVs. The lake can be accessed by truck. The access road can be traveled by two or four wheel vehicles during most of the season.
Tours of the club are by appointment only. Please contact us for inquiries or to make arrangements.
