The deer management program developed by Dr. Jacobson includes browse surveys verifying the abundance of natural food that has kept the herd on the property for many years. Food plots have been planted each year and recently were expanded to include roadside plots, which has created a wide boulevard on the main road. Our 16,000 acres provide abundant habitat for all manner of wildlife.
We offer a large area exclusively for bow hunting throughout the hunting season. Several lakes and many sloughs offer fishing for large mouth bass, crappie, bluegill and catfish. These lakes are restocked annually by the Mississippi River. The lakes and sloughs offer wood duck shooting throughout the season.
